It is the goal of the Ventura County SELPA to support students with IEPs in classrooms and other school settings with their same age peers as much as possible.  This may include accommodations and modifications and other strategies for inclusion.  These will be specified on the IEP.  It is the responsibility of classroom teachers, paraeducators, specilaists and others to implement these accommodations with fidelity to the best of their ability. They should depend on their administrators to provide the support that they need. The following resources will provide ideas for accommodations and supports for including students with disabilities in general education classrooms and settings.
