The Ventura County SELPA is a consortium of all the public school districts in Ventura County, the Las Virgenes Unified School District, and the Special Education programs of the Ventura County Office of Education. We collaborate together to provide the full range of Special Education services at no cost to families for all students in our member school districts.
SELPA staff are committed to supporting the parents of our students with disabilities as well as the teachers, specialists, administrators, paraeducators and others who work in our schools. This includes administrative support, personnel development, program development and special programs and services. In addition, the SELPA collaborates with local agencies, both public and private, serving people with disabilities of all ages.
